The Prophet and the Poet closes today! We will have tickets on sale at the door if you haven’t already purchased. (Online ticket sales are closed now). Online sales have ended, but we have tickets available at the box office for tonight’s show. Hope to see you there! Playwright, actor, director and educator Vijay Padaki of Banglore Little Theatre will be attending Shunya’s opening night production of his play The Prophet and the Poet. The performance will be followed by a short talk back. It is certain to be a thought provoking evening; get your tickets today at tickets2events.com! We have added an additional day for auditions for “The Prophet and the Poet” and “Partition.” We will still be auditioning this Sunday (June 12) at the Anjali Center 2-4 pm, and in addition we will also hold auditions at the Anjali Center Thursday 6/16/11 at 7 pm. The Anjali Center for Performing Arts [...] Shunya is excited to be announcing auditions for our next TWO productions. Joint auditions for the next two productions will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 2 – 4 pm at the Anjali Center for Performing Arts. Our Sept/October 2011 production: The Prophet and the Poet A play by Vijay Padaki, Directed by [...] We are coming up on our next monthly play reading on Saturday, 5/21/11.
